We had a great meeting in Columbus Monday.
The cool thing about what we're set to launch in the Valley is that we're a small group, but we're teammates with much larger organizations that have a keen interest in Youngstown.
At one part in the Monday meeting, a Washington, D.C. expert was listing off foreign export numbers produced by Youngstown businesses. He said it's a remarkable percentage when compared to others , and that it's a number that can grow in the new economy.
We'll have a story on that soon as part of our new newspaper.
March is coming, and so is that new newspaper.
It's the above depth that we think you'll enjoy about us.

Hello,
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to say that a new Valley newspaper is a great idea. I was wondering who is responsible for its creation. Is it a local effort?
I'm interested in learning more about the brains behind this paper, as well. I was born and raised in the Valley, and I am a bit disillusioned with our current newspapers. As a writer, I find it disgraceful to print anything with typos and other glaring errors. I can't wait to find out more and see if maybe a new option will cause readers to raise their standards about what to expect in a newspaper.
